Room information system V:SCOUT
V:SCOUT provides a virtual representation of University Library Neubrandenburg, making it easier to find your literature, rooms and services.
In addition to their call number, analog media in our library catalog or discovery system have a link to the location. V:SCOUT shows you the exact way to the respective shelf.
The layout view automatically adapts to any screen, can be set to a barrier-free mode with more contrast and colours, and offers 2D and 3D options.
Use the menu on the left-hand side in V:SCOUT to search for call numbers or subject groups and also services (e.g., “scanner”). You can also view each floor and explore our work spaces.
TIP: Use the right mouse button to select any starting point on the map and then navigate to the location or shelf you are looking for using the search function.
In this context, please also note our switch to the RVK classification system, which means that the holdings of the various subject groups (biology, psychology, etc.) are currently located at several locations.
