Ethics Committee

The Ethics Committee of Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences assesses ethical issues in the scientific community, in particular projects involving research on and with human subjects. Projects involving basic, application-oriented, epidemiological research with personal data and research with a therapeutic objective as well as all medical science projects that do not involve the clinical testing of a drug or medical device are eligible for application.

The Ethics Committee of the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences is not responsible for interventions or treatments for experimental purposes on animals that may be associated with pain, suffering or harm to these animals. Animal experimentation projects in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern must be authorised by the State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety and Fisheries (LALLF MV) in Rostock (e-mail address: tierversuchswesenlallf.mvnetde).
