Applications for review by the Ethics Committee of Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences can be submitted by researchers who are planning scientific studies on and with humans and the environment. This includes Basic, application-oriented, epidemiological and research with personal data and research with a therapeutic objective as well as all medical-scientific projects.

The application should consist of several parts (please summarise in one file):

1. a short, informal cover letter and more detailed information on the background of the study,

2. a study protocol with a detailed description of the project and reflection on ethical aspects of max. 15 pages (appendices and literature are not counted),

An application must be sent as an attachment to an e-mail to the Ethics Committee of the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences (ethikkommission@hs-nb.de).

After the completeness of the documents has been checked and a decision on acceptance has been made, the applicant will receive feedback on the processing period, which is usually limited to four weeks.

The members of the ethics committee take part in the review of the application. The procedure is not public.

The applicant may be heard in person or asked to make additions.
