Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences participates in the Deutschlandstipendium programme of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. These scholarships support particularly talented and capable students for one academic year from 1 September to 31 August. This is made possible thanks to sponsors from the region and throughout Germany.
The Germany Scholarships are advertised for one academic year at a time.

Deutschlandstipendien 2025/2026 - Call for applications/Invitation to apply
Next year, the university will once again be offering Germany Scholarships as part of the national scholarship programme for the winter semester 2025/2026. The application period is from mid-July to mid-August 2025 and you will find the exact dates here in due course. All enrolled students at Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences and first-year students who are about to start their studies at Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences are eligible to apply.
Application
Anyone who is enrolled as a student at Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences or will be enrolled at the time the scholarship is awarded can apply.
The Deutschlandstipendium is independent of income and is not offset against BAföG benefits. Double funding with scholarships from the organisations for the promotion of gifted students is excluded
The scholarships can be tied to a specific subject area or degree programme at the request of the sponsor. Only students who correspond to the respective department, degree programme or major field of study can apply for these scholarships. Information on the number and purpose of the scholarships to be awarded will be announced in the call for applications.
Award criteria
The award criteria are laid down in the statutes governing the award of scholarships at Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences.
In addition to very good performance, other criteria are taken into account, such as
- special achievements, awards and prizes, previous professional experience and internships
- special letters of recommendation
- stays abroad
- commitment
- Special family or personal circumstances
A selection committee at Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences decides on the awarding of scholarships. Scholarship providers have the opportunity to participate in the selection process in an advisory capacity.
