Ombudspersons and Commission for Good Scientific Practice
"The results of science and education, research and development and the transfer of these results are of fundamental importance to society. Both their development and, above all, their utilisation and exploitation can have considerable consequences for society and individuals in terms of the natural, technical and social foundations of life. A sense of responsibility, integrity, honesty and a self-critical attitude are therefore indispensable prerequisites for anyone working in science, research and development." Preamble to the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences guideline on safeguarding good scientific practice
