The Bachelor's degree program in Vocational Education - Teacher Training at Vocational Schools (Nursing) offers the first academic qualification on the way to becoming a teacher in subject-related vocational education.
Starting in the winter semester 2023/2024, we will enroll students for a six-semester program with a new program title Vocational Pedagogy - Teacher Training at Vocational Schools (Nursing).
Degree: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), 6 semesters
The Bachelor's degree program in Vocational Education - Teacher Training at Vocational Schools (Nursing) is designed to respond to the continuing strong demand for vocational school teachers.
We offer you a pedagogical study program that combines scientific knowledge from the field of health and nursing with the corresponding subject didactics. The study program is oriented towards the classical structure of teacher training programs (type 5) in the field of vocational education through active cooperation with the consecutive master's program (4 semesters) at the University of Rostock. The program is designed in such a way that a lateral entry is possible for graduates of the bachelor's program in nursing science/nursing management or health sciences.
The Bachelor's degree program in Vocational Pedagogy for Health Care Professions (previous program title) is accredited.
