In modern societies there has long been a growing need for counselling services for individuals, couples, families, groups and organisations in almost all areas of life. Counselling has become a key form of professional

psychosocial help.

The applied Master’s programme Counselling prepares students for this demanding profession with a research-based and practically oriented academic education over four semesters.

After completing their studies, students are able to appropriately reflect on and practically implement counselling as a basic form of communication from different disciplinary perspectives. They will have acquired the skills to work professionally on the basis of academic learning and methods as specialist staff in a wide range of fields, including in management positions.
