Service of the university library in time of corona crisis

The university library team is available for you:

Current regulations on visiting the library

The order of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of April 17, 2020 allows the university library to resume limited service. Hygiene and distance regulations and necessary measures to avoid contact have to be observed.

Opening hours:

Monday - Friday:
10am to 16pm

Please enter the library only with a basket that is provided at the entrance. The maximum number of people allowed is limited. Please wear a mouth and nose cover and keep a distance of at least 2 meters from other people. Hand disinfectant is available for you at the entrance. Your contact details are recorded for the purpose of tracking infections with COVID-19.

Loan / return:

Please prepare your visit to the library well by researching the required media in the catalog beforehand. Lending works contactless via the self-checkout devices. Use our smartShelf to return items automatically.

Working places and devices:

A limited number of workingplaces in the reading room is available. Printers, copiers and PCs will not be available until further notice. The book scanner can be used.

Help and advice on literature research will continue to be offered by telephone or email. Online training is also possible. Find out more about the digital offers of the university library on our homepage.
