Exchange programme
As part of various exchange programmes, there is the option for international students to complete one or more semesters as an international student at our university.
The ERASMUS+ programme supports the exchange of students between partner universities throughout Europe. Visiting students from partner universities outside the ERASMUS region have the option of studying one to two semesters at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences on the basis of existing cooperation agreements.
European exchange – Erasmus+
International students from partner universities who want to study at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences for one or two semesters as part of an ERASMUS agreement can apply to the ERASMUS coordinator in the International Office of their home university.
Application requirements
The prerequisites for an ERASMUS exchange are a valid ERASMUS agreement, an inter-institutional agreement, between both partner universities as well as the applicant having German language skills to level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (GER).
Application procedure
The student’s home university nominates the applicant for an ERASMUS exchange with the International Office of the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences. The International Office then sends further information about the application procedure to the applicant with the request to submit the following documents:
- Application Form
- Learning Agreement
- Transcript of Records
- European Health Insurance Card
- 1 Passport Photo

You will subsequently receive information by email about the teaching programmes in the requested department for the coming semester, on the basis of which you will be able to prepare your study plan (learning agreement) in consultation with the ECTS coordinators of the departments of your home university and the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences.

End of May - for studies in Winter Semester (September to February)
End of November - for studies in Summer Semester (March to July)
